At Aanneswaan Diiamond, every piece leaves our atelier after meticulous inspection and quality verification. We stand behind the craftsmanship and authenticity of each jewel we offer. Our return and refund framework is designed to be fair, transparent, and reflective of our brand’s premium values — balancing genuine customer care with the inherent nature of natural diamond jewellery as a luxury product.
Return Eligibility & Window
We accept return requests under the following conditions:
- The return request is raised within 7 days of confirmed delivery.
- The jewellery is in its original, unworn condition — with all original packaging, certificates, invoices, and tags intact.
- The piece has not been resized, altered, engraved, or repaired by any party other than us.
- The return is for a valid reason: manufacturing defect, significant deviation from product description, or a damaged shipment.
To initiate a return, please contact us at anneswaneximllp@gmail.com or via WhatsApp within the return window, with your order number, photographs of the piece, and a brief description of the concern.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain categories of jewellery are non-returnable by nature:
- Custom-made & Bespoke Jewellery: Pieces designed and manufactured to your specific instructions, measurements, or preferences. An advance deposit is taken for such orders, and manufacturing begins on confirmation — these cannot be returned.
- Personalised Pieces: Jewellery with engravings, name inscriptions, or modifications specific to your request.
- Resized Items: Jewellery that has been altered from its original size at your request.
- Items Purchased During a Final Sale: Where explicitly marked as non-returnable at the time of sale.
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons): Unless they arrive defective or damaged.
Damaged or Defective Jewellery
If your jewellery arrives damaged in transit or exhibits a manufacturing defect, please:
- Do not remove the jewellery from its packaging beyond initial inspection.
- Photograph the damage clearly, including the outer packaging.
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs and your order details.
Verified damage or defects will be remedied through repair, replacement with an identical or equivalent piece, or full refund — entirely at our cost, including return shipping. We do not dispute genuine defect claims raised promptly and in good faith.
Exchange Policy
We offer a one-time exchange on eligible jewellery within 30 days of purchase, subject to:
- The piece being in original, unworn condition with all documentation.
- The exchange value being equal to or greater than the original purchase price (any differential is payable by the customer).
- Availability of the desired replacement piece.
Exchanges are particularly available for size variations on rings and bangles where resizing is not feasible. Our team will guide you through a seamless exchange experience.
Refund Process & Timeline
Once your returned jewellery is received by us and inspected for compliance with return eligibility criteria:
- We will notify you of the return approval or rejection within 48 hours of receipt.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days through the original payment method (bank transfer, UPI, or equivalent).
- For bank transfer refunds, please provide your account details at the time of return initiation.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (defect, wrong item dispatched).
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless we are collecting for a verified defect claim.
Refund amounts will reflect the actual invoice value of the returned piece(s). GST will be refunded as applicable under Indian tax law.
Order Cancellation
For standard (non-custom) orders, cancellation requests received before dispatch will be honoured with a full refund. Once dispatched, the order must be received and a return initiated under our return policy.
For custom-made orders, cancellation is accepted within 24 hours of placing the order. Beyond this window, the 50% advance deposit is non-refundable as manufacturing materials and craftsman time will have been committed.
International Returns
For international customers, returns are accepted subject to the same eligibility criteria. International return shipping is entirely the customer’s responsibility, including customs declarations and associated charges. Aanneswaan Diiamond will not be responsible for items lost or damaged during international return transit. We strongly recommend insured, trackable shipping for all international returns.
Natural diamonds and handcrafted jewellery may exhibit minor visual differences under various lighting conditions compared to product photography. If you believe the piece significantly deviates from its description, please contact us within 7 days with clear photographs and we will assess your concern promptly and fairly.
Yes. Size exchanges are one of the most common and warmly accommodated requests. Contact us within 30 days of purchase. Depending on the design, we may resize the ring at our atelier or exchange it for the correct size. Our team will advise the best route for your specific piece.
Once your return is received and approved (within 48 hours of receipt), your refund is initiated within 7–10 working days. Bank processing times may add 2–3 additional days depending on your bank. We will keep you informed at every step.
Custom-made jewellery is created specifically to your brief and cannot be returned once manufactured. We mitigate this through thorough design consultations, CAD previews (where applicable), and approval checkpoints before production commences. We encourage all bespoke customers to communicate their vision clearly and review all confirmations carefully before we proceed.
